Network & Editorial Disclosure
How we select the educational resources we link to, the editorial and medical-review standards behind our content, and how you can request a correction.
Common ownership and publishing relationships
GLPSurgery.com is an educational resource associated with the OCC & Ariel Center Metabolic Health Network. Certain other educational websites that we may occasionally reference — for example, resources covering gastric sleeve surgery, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, bariatric revision, or metabolic care — share a common publishing network. We disclose that relationship here rather than repeating a lengthy notice inside every article.
Editorial standards
Content on GLPSurgery.com is prepared under our editorial policy. We do not declare any single treatment universally superior to another. We describe how options work, how they compare, how they may be combined, and what to discuss with a qualified clinician. Editorial decisions are not driven by advertisers, sponsors, or commercial relationships with any linked resource.
Medical review process
Substantive clinical content is reviewed under our medical review policy. Reviewer credentials are listed on our medical review board page, and each reviewed page carries a byline with the reviewer name and last-reviewed date.
How we select cross-site educational links
Links to other educational websites are selected manually, based on topic relevance to the reader's decision-making journey. We link to a small, curated set of specialized resources — for example, focused guides to gastric sleeve, endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, bariatric revision, and diabetes and metabolic care — and only when the destination provides substantially deeper information about the exact topic being discussed. Most articles include no cross-site links at all.
We do not use automatic keyword-linking scripts, we do not list every affiliated website in the main navigation or footer, and we do not require reciprocal links. Links are educational and are not treatment recommendations or endorsements.
Requesting a correction
